ACEG focuses its program activities on issues and topics that have the potential to combat poverty and accelerate economic development of African countries. The issues and topics that are given prominence include but are not limited to regional integration, private enterprise development, democracy, governance, trade, poverty and equity. Other broad topics such as gender, institutional capacity building, and environment form part of ACEGs program focus. ACEG also focuses on issues and topics such as assessments of the impacts and popularity of public policies.
